Dec. 2012 – We teamed up with University of Notre Dame and spent our Thanksgiving week on the NJ shore to survey structural damage from Hurricane Sandy. Thanks to the participates, including Ning Lin, Emmi Yonekura, Margaret Owensby, Luca Nagy, and Jonathan Glassman from Princeton.
Nov. 2012 – Dr. Emmi Yonekura joins the group as a Postdoctoral Associate. She joins us from Columbia University, where she received PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences. Welcome!
Sep. 2012 – Lauren Tauscher, Margaret Owensby, and Yerab Ermias join the group to work on their senior thesis. Welcome!
Aug. 2012 – Ping Lu joins the group as a graduate student (jointly in Prof. James Smith’s Hydrometeorology research group). She received B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University, China. Welcome!
July 2012 – Dr. Ning Lin returns to Princeton to start her tenure-track assistant professorship. She joins Princeton from MIT, where she was a NOAA Climate & Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences from 2010-2012. She received PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University in 2010.
